The Action Required component shows that the user must complete a critically important action. Use it when a dashboard, setup flow, billing page, or account page needs to clearly tell the user what must be done next.
- Required setup: Ask the user to finish a required profile, company, or workspace step.
- Blocked access: Explain why a feature is not ready until the action is complete.
- One primary action: Provide one clear button that moves the user to the next step.
- Critical notices: Highlight account, billing, verification, or onboarding tasks.
Do not use it for passive information. If the message does not require a critical action, use an Alert or another lower-emphasis component instead.
